昨日、一家でコロンに行き(いつも通り舟で往復)、カラバオの人々のために、米、麺、コーヒー、子供たちにキャンディー、を始め必要な食糧を仕入れてきた。600世帯に配るため、今は一家総出で１世帯分ずつに袋詰めしている。

明日全てを舟に積んでカラバオの少数部族に届ける。

道路は倒れた木々や家々等で、どこも例えバイクでも全く通行不可能なので、舟からは背負って徒歩で運ぶ。

彼らには町から報せが行ったので、カラバオの人達が岸辺で待っていて共に運ぶ。

600世帯に配り終えるのに5日かかる予定。

この報せにカラバオの人々は涙を流して喜び感謝した。

本当に大きな援助だ！

エスピナさんの体を心配したら、こんな働きを出来る幸せはない！体は大丈夫！と。

今回のために、送金20万4,700ペソ(日本円で50万円)の内、15万ペソ下ろした。

再び自分たちをこうして信頼してくれたことに、改めて心底感謝です、と。

この災害に間に合うように主が私たちを再会させて下さった、と話し合いました。


手伝いに帰宅していたニーニャは、明日はパラワン本島に仕事に戻るが、ニーニャの働く会社の真珠養殖場は、台風予報により、出来るだけの措置をしたので、幸い被害は少なくすんだ。
ツナミではないけれど、物凄い大波にさらされた

「Phone from Espina-san and family about distributing foodstuff to the minorities」

"Thanks to your remittance, yesterday we went to Coron to buy a lot of foodstuff - rice, noodle, coffee, candy for the children and other necessities - for the devastated typhoon victims in Carabao Culion, altogether 600 families.
Now we (all our family, Inday, Nina, Tintin and myself) are busy packing these foodstuff for each family at our place.
Tomorrow I am going to the place, at first by boat, then from the nearest coast on foot carrying them on our shoulders with some people from Carabao who will be waiting my arriving there. The roads and paths are blocked by fallen trees and other objects, so walking is the only way to reach the place. It will take five days to finish distributing to all the houses.
I have dispatched a person from the town to let them know our going to them with food owing to the supportive money from Japanese Agape Society of Ainoki.They were overjoyed and express their gratitude weeping. It really is great help!"

I worried about his health condition, then he said,
"I am all right, and happy being able to work for their lives like this owing to you all."

Both Inday and Nina confirmed me, he would be all right.

"For this support, I withdrew 150,000 pesos from the remittance of 204,700 pesos (500,000yen).
I appreciate your reliance on me again from the bottom of my heart. Thank Papa and you all."

We talked that for this disaster the Lord made us reunite just in time!

Nina who have come home to help her father for the Carabao people, will be back to her work in Palawan tomorrow.
"The damage of pearl farms the company had was not so big fortunately as we have well prepared for the typhoon coming beforehand though we have been very busy doing so and taking care of the aftermath. Though it was not tsunami, the wave was very very big."
She said.
