—Our second remittence and the suggestions Dec. 23, 2013

Dear Espina-san,

As we talked through phone yesterday, tomorrow we will make the second remittence of one million Japanese yen (the twice amount than the first one) to you with the suggestions for reconstruction of Culion from Oshochi.

This remittence owes to goodwill donors together with ours all Ainoki Family members.


Suggestions

1. To secure and distribute indispensable ffood and medicine for the time being.

2. To set up farmers' cooporative association to do all the work and securing necessities for recovery of farming -such as tto secure and cultivate the land, to get seeds and seedlings, etc.

3. To set up fishermen's cooporative association to do all the work and securing necessities for recovery of fishery - such as to keep watch poaching or illegal fishing, to purchase boats and gears, etc.

We entrust the leadership for these tasks to you Espina-san - to your ability and experiences.

4. As for the mangrove forest and water, we may have to leave the most of its recovery to the circulation of the nature ffor long period of time. Therefore tthe recovery of the fish breeding and nursery also cannnot be expected in short time.

Here we suggest to plant fast-growing and useful trees suitable to your climate - e.g. banyan trees, bananas, mangos, etc., you name it.


We know that our remittence is very small and far from being enough, but we remit to you with our earnest prayer and hope that it will become a foothold for the recovery and light up hope in people's mind.


Please convey our suggestions and message to Municipal Mayor Mr. Marasigan, and the staffs through you, Espina-san.

昨日電話で話したように、
おしょちからの復興への提案と共に
第2回目の送金をします。前回の倍額日本円で100万円を送ります。
多くの方の善意のご寄金と私達愛の樹家族からのものです。


1、当面の食糧、医薬品の確保と支給。

2、農業再生に向けて、農民達の協同組合を設立し、土地の確保耕作、種や苗の購入など全て組合で行う。

3、漁業再生に向けて、漁業協同組合を立ち上げ、密漁の監視。舟や魚具の購入など、全て組合で行う。

エスピナさんの経験とリーダーシップに委ねる。

4、マングローブの森や沼地再生は、その大部分を長い時間をかけて自然の循環に委ねざるを得ないだろう。
従って、養魚場の再生も簡単ではないだろう。

そこで、先ずは陸に、気候に合い、また成長が早く役立つ木々を植えていく。例えば
ガジュマル、バナナ、マンゴーなどか？


私達の送金は大変に小さく、充分からは遥か遠いものですが、皆さんの復興への足掛かりとなり、小さな希望の灯になることを切に願ってやみません。
